LCT Interiors
LCT Interiors was borne from the passion and vision of its' creators Lucy Tonge and Clinton Sturdey.
'Our love of beautiful decorative antiques and the architecture & design found in nature compelled us to open LCT Home, a space where devotees of the aesthetic could search and discover a world of timeless, classic design, and where beauty and function are forever entwined. It was simply a natural evolution that led to the creation of LCT Interiors, where bold designs, inspired by the boundless wonders of our natural world and the majestic animals that we are privileged to share it with, flow from the imagination of our Designer and creative architect Lucy Tonge'.
It all culminates in collections that are visually breath taking and eternally stylish.
The designer
Lucy Tonge
British born designer Lucy Tonge Graduated from Central St Martins, London with BA Hons in Textile Design.
Her initial direction away from textiles came with working as a designer in the fashion industry. With over 20 years experience as a Handbags and Accessories designer, working for Designer Brands & Large high street retailers in the UK & Internationally. Traveling the world for research, the latest trends and inspiration & sourcing. Supplying Design, Trend & Colour forecasting direction to clients.
More recently turning to the Antiques industry for a new direction, sourcing and selling designer Antique lighting and furniture with partner Clinton Sturdey for their brand LCT Home.
Now Lucy has returned to her roots creating new and exciting textile designs for LCT Interiors, to compliment and sit alongside LCT Home.
Working from her studio in Hastings on the south coast, creating unique collections inspired by nature, flora & fauna and the decorative antiques that surround them from LCT Home.
Her designs are confident, maximalist and bold with unexpected pattern mixes creating statement designs, sometimes oversized, playing with scale and perspective. Following muted monochrome colour palettes with flashes of metallic golden tones to highlight the details for the recent Tropics collection.
These striking designs are used throughout the collection of luxury British and US made products, including woven's, wallpapers and digitally printed high end silks & organic cottons. Creating contemporary exciting statement interior pieces.
